VFR MAP EUROPE app

VFR navigation for Android, version numbers as on Google Play. About the app

0.5.0

Latest

A new look and three flight screen layouts

  • A completely new look: new colours, clear cards and a bottom navigation bar (Map, Route, Aircraft, Flights, More) instead of the ☰ menu.
  • Three flight screen layouts to choose from in Settings: Instrument bar, Panel or Column.
  • Ground screen: search, weather, NOTAM, the nearest station's METAR and your route with a "Start flight" button.
  • A heading tape instead of the compass rose, a new scale bar and aircraft icon, a dotted track vector, airspace warnings in one banner (red only for prohibited and restricted areas).
  • Route: a sketch of the route's shape, distance, time, fuel and wind tiles, the points in one card.
  • Light and dark theme; terrain profile always on, on request or hidden.
  • The map remembers its zoom and position when you come back to the Map tab.
  • The old layout is gone (☰ menu, compass rose, side Radio tab). Radio is now part of every flight screen layout.
