The website is for planning on the ground. The app is for navigating in the air - it works offline, shows your position and warns you before you fly where you shouldn't.

The map on vfrmap.eu is and will stay free. Only the mobile app for in-flight navigation is paid - as a subscription on Google Play.

  • 7 days free. You start the trial in the app. Google Play asks for a payment method but charges nothing for 7 days. The trial is available once per Google account.
  • The full app. The subscription unlocks every feature: GPS map, planning, warnings, weather, logbook and offline use.
  • Renews automatically every month or every year until you cancel it. Cancel on Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, also from the app (Settings → Subscription).
  • Cancelling during the trial means no charge. After you cancel a paid subscription, the app works until the end of the period you paid for.
  • No VFR MAP EUROPE account. The subscription is tied to your Google account - on a new phone with the same account it works straight away.
  • Flying without internet. The app checks the subscription with Google Play, but without a connection it keeps working for up to 7 days after the last check, and a flight in progress is never interrupted.
  • Unlimited map updates. New data every AIRAC cycle (28 days) is included in the subscription - no extra charge for new editions.
  • The price is in Polish zloty including 23% VAT. Outside Poland Google Play shows it in your currency, so the amount may differ slightly. Payment is handled by Google.
